Eating your greens isn't always the easiest or most delicious way to consume your nutrients, especially with holiday treats popping up everywhere you look, like David Bowie in the Labyrinth. This year, you tell yourself, is going to be the year you won't gain those 10 extra holiday pounds.

Well, with a little help from the new Little Park, this may not actually be the most ambitious statement you make this year. At this health food haven (don't stop reading yet) you can enjoy delicious fresh fare without gaining that extra holiday layer.

Finding a home inside the Smyth on W. Broadway, Andrew Carmellini alongside design partners, Gachot Studios, introduce this 85 seat healthy eatery. With unbelievable choices— seriously you won't believe that this food is actually good for you— like the Beetroot Tartar with Horseradish Cream and Rye Crumble, and the 14-day Dry-Aged Duck Breast with Roasted Garlic Puree, you may have a difficult time accepting your new identity as a health food lover.

Don't call your therapist just yet though, because with the helping hand of bartender Anne Robins (previously of PDT) your body and mind will soon be at ease. After your meal head over to the fireplace by the Evening Bar to consume their health inspired cocktails like the one and only Porcini Nog—scotch with porcini vinegar, egg, dried porcini and chocolate shavings.

Though your world may be turned upside-down by the realization that vegetables can actually be good, no need to worry just yet… at least not until you start calling yourself a Vegan.
