Cinco de Mayo is fast approaching and with it comes music, dancing and drinking. Cinco de Mayo is a day to celebrate Mexican American pride and to commemorate the Mexican army’s victory over the French during the Battle of Puebla. Tequila, an alcoholic beverage made primarily in the city of Tequila (which lies within the Mexican state of Jalisco), is frequently associated with this Mexican-American holiday. Read on for three amazing tequila recipes from Eddy Buckingham, a New York-based bar, restaurant owner and mixologist for Sauza® 901® Tequila.

Sauza® 901® is the product of a collaboration between Justin Timberlake and Sauza® Tequila. Sauza® 901® promises it is “Perfect for any occasion from a celebratory night out to a low key night with friends. Sauza 901 is a triple distilled, 100% agave tequila offering a smooth taste crafted using only the finest Blue Weber agave.”

Mr. Buckingham’s new cocktail bar, Chinese Tuxedo, will open in the fall of 2015. The Chinatown location will be able to seat up to 200 people and offers two cocktail bars for all your tequila needs.
