Got a great story to tell? Head over to the UCB Theater in the East Village for Happy Hour Story Hour. Julia Wiedeman hosts the open mic series every Monday at 6:30 p.m. All you have to do is throw your name into the hat for the chance to tell a story or to win a drink. Either way, it's a fun way to spend a Monday evening. Admission is free.

Tonight, hip-hop, indie-rock, punk, and folk artists committed to social change will come together at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park to honor the life of musician and activist Pete Seeger. Hosted by Gina Belafonte (Harry Belafonte's daughter) and Kitama Jackson (Pete Seeger's grandson), this event will use music as a way to give a voice to the voiceless while inspiring people to change the world for themselves, their communities and future generations. Lineup includes Amanda Palmer, Anti-Flag, Toni Blackman, The Chapin Sisters, Rebel Diaz, Steve Earle, Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion, James Maddock, and Mike + Ruthy. Event starts at 6 p.m.

That's right, tonight, watch Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo set out on a cross-country road trip with the kids in everyone's favorite, National Lampoon's Vacation. This 1983 film is a classic comedy that everyone should see at least once. This movie proves to be just as funny today – probably because it was written by John Hughes and directed by Harold Ramis. Screening starts just after sunset and admission is free.
