Film Biz Recycling is unveiling their latest digs so sip on complimentary fuzzy navels, enjoy sick MTV videos, and belt out that 80's karaoke. $5-$20 suggest donation at the door. RSVP recommended.

The singer-songwriter has released five albums, including his latest entitled Mountains of Sorrow, Rivers of Song. His sweet and melodic voice has earned him a Grammy nomination. Indie-pop-swing foursome Lake Street Dive are now captivating audiences as Brooklyn residents. They all graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music but probably know them best from their viral video, where they covered the Jackson Five's "I Want You Back." Come hear these dynamic singers perform tonight starting at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

The American Black Film Festival is in full swing and tonight you can meet some of today's most beloved male actors at the Metropolitan Pavilion. Dr. Marc Lamont Hill of Columbia University and BET News will moderate a discussion about how black men are projected in film and television. Together they'll share stories about their journeys to success in front of the camera as well as the messages they wish to convey to boys and young men in the community. Tonight's panelists include Omari Hardwick (Power), Morris Chestnut (The Best Man Holiday), and Stephen Bishop (Being Mary Jane). Event begins at 6:30 p.m.
