Celebrated astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson hosts the live edition of his popular talk show, StarTalk Live! tonight as part of the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival at Th Bell House. Eugene, himself, will act as co-host with plenty of other special guests also gracing the stage. Pop culture and comedy collide in this evening of nerdy hilarity. Tickets range from $35 and show starts at 8:30 p.m.

These ladies are representing women in comedy at its best. Show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are just $5.

Director), Barton Gellman (Washington Post reporter), and Gabriel Schoenfeld (Necessary Secrets: National Security, the Media, and the Rule of Law) will discuss how the conflict between government and press has been complicated by sweeping efforts to enhance American counterrorism prowness, notably detention of suspects, surveillance, and collection of data on citizens. They'll also examine how reporters should deal with classified information in today's digital age. Michael Isikoff, Chief Investigative Correspondent for Yahoo News will moderate tonight's event. Discussion begins at 6:30 p.m. with a reception to follow. Tickets are $15.
