A Very Jewish Christmas
Spend the last night of Chanukah laughing the night away at Gotham Comedy Club. Watch as some of New York’s funniest Jewish comedians hit the stage, including Marion Grodin, Jared Freid, Louis Katz, Sam Morril, and Chloe Hilliard. Choose from one of two shows at 7:30 p.m. or 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 (includes 2 beverage minimum) and doors open 30 minutes before showtime.

Take a spin around the Trump Wollman Rink in Central Park as the first light of Chanukah is lit on December 16th from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Skate to the sounds of Ta Shma Orchestra and enjoy complimentary kosher food throughout the evening. Where else can will you get to join in on the lighting of a giant ice menorah? Plus, it doesn’t get any better than celebrating the festival of lights in the heart of NYC. Skate rentals are $25 online, $28 at the door and kids under 3 are free.
Dress up in your holiday best because the 28th Annual The Matzo Ball NYC is heading to Capitale on December 24th at 9 p.m. Those looking for love will be happy to know that this is the nation’s leading Jewish single’s event. Tickets are $40 and the party goes all night long until 4 a.m. It’s time to start dating the old-fashioned way: face-to-face. What a concept, huh? VIP and bottle service is available.
Lighting of the World’s Largest Hanukkah Menorah
Celebrate the first night of Chanukah at Grand Army Plaza. Join Rabbi Shimon Hecht, community leaders, philanthropists and specials guests, in lighting the 32-foot tall menorah. There will be live music and plenty of hot latkes for everyone to enjoy. Make sure to bring your little ones because special gifts will also be distributed to every child. Event begins at 6 p.m. Please check website for future lighting schedules through December 24th.
