Von Dolhens isn't just pumping out scrumptious frozen yogurt. This place is also serving up piping hot lolly waffles (yep, waffles on a stick). If you're looking for authentic elote (Mexican corn on the cob) make your way over to Café Habana. This grilled goodness is smothered in mayonnaise, cojita cheese, and chili powder. Squeeze a little lime on top and you've got yourself one tasty appetizer (or meal if you want more than one!). There's a reason this place is famous for it.

Grab a bucket of fried chicken and go to town. These perfectly crunchy and skewered pieces of chicken hit the spot when you're craving some good old-fashioned southern food. It'll cost you $48 but it's enough to feed more than one person - includes 12 pieces of chicken, coleslaw, two large sides, and rolls. Chicken on a stick by itself is $5 and a perfect way to have a taste with another order (may we suggest the fried bologna sandwich?).

There's even something for the diner with a finer palette. Sit down at elan and savor the foie gras pop. Yep, you read that correctly. The foie gras is laced with sweet figs and prosciutto and then rolled in nutty pistachio to pack it with even more flavor. Definitely worth splitting unless you like very decadent and rich starters. At just $4 a pop, these are worth trying.
