Polls: NJ Residents Approve Of Gov. Christie

TRENTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — Two polls find more residents approve than disapprove of the job New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is doing a year into his term.

A Monmouth University/Gannett New Jersey Press Media Poll finds Christie’s job approval rating 47-40 percent favorable. Christie gets high marks for cost-cutting but lower grades for providing property tax relief.

A Quinnipiac University Poll puts the governor’s job approval rating at 52-40 percent.

The Monmouth telephone poll of 801 New Jerseyans was taken Feb. 2-7 and has a sampling error margin plus or minus 3.5 percent.

The Quinnipiac poll of 1,347 registered voters was taken Feb. 3-7 and has a sampling error margin of plus or minus 2.7 percent.

I am fairly certain that Governor Christie nor any member of his family do their own laundry while residing at the Governor’s Mansion.

That being the case, do you realize that it is some government worker’s job to have to clean his giant tidy whities. Man, you could not pay me enough for that job.
