Port Authority spokesman Ron Marsico said the driver was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. The cause of the accident was under investigation.

The accident snarled New Jersey-bound traffic for about five hours Friday morning, throwing a huge snag in the plans of people trying to quit the city early Friday.

As I sat southbound on 7th Avenue this morning for 1 hour and 45 mins. I continued to hear that the delay at the outbound Holland Tunnel was 10 mins.
on 1010 WINS radio. Someone over there isn’t doing there job very well.
