Tri-State Gets Mostly Sunny Forecast For Mother's Day

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Moms in the Tri-State will get great weather for Mother's Day with temperatures reaching a high of 73 degrees on Sunday.

The low will only hit 53 and the temperatures will continue to increase as the day opens up thanks to mostly sunny skies.

Overall, days upon days of sunshine will last until at least Wednesday as temps reach the 70s over the next few days as well.

There's a system off to the southwest of the Tri-State, but there's only a slight chance of isolated showers that could come from the tail end of that system.
