B&C Morning Show: Suzyn Waldman Gets A Little Emotional
Jerry "Rello" Recco began his first update of the week by recapping the Yankees' 5th straight defeat, a 7-5 loss to the Red Sox, which put a nice bow on Boston's 3-game sweep in the Bronx.
Yanks DH Jorge Posada has garnered all sorts of headlines since asking out of the lineup Saturday night after learning he had been dropped to the 9-hole. Posada's wife Laura (pictured above along with Jorge) took to Twitter in her husband's defense and Brian Cashman has come under fire a bit for his comments, so Craig came to the defense of the man he often refers to as "the Weasel."
Craig had some fun with the Posada fallout in the form of a couple of brand-new "B&C Game Shows." We also heard the audio of Posada's pinch-hit appearance last night, when he received a standing ovation and some praise from the WCBS 880's Suzyn Waldman, which Craig also had a little fun with.
The Mets took 2 of 3 from the Astros and inch closer to the .500 mark as they prepare for a Subway Series in the Bronx this weekend.
