Police Search For Missing 15-Year-Old Brianna Fleming From Port Richmond

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding a Port Richmond girl who has been missing for three weeks.

Brianna Fleming, 15, was last seen around 8:30 p.m. on May 24 leaving her home on Villa Avenue.

Fleming's mother, Diane, told the Staten Island Advance that her daughter has run away from home several times over the past three years but this time seems different from past situations.

The teen's mother said Brianna would normally turn up outside her school or at a friend's house. Diane Fleming said her daughter has not even been in touch with her best friend.

Brianna has apparently blocked her Facebook page and police have reportedly submitted a subpoena for information from her profile -- which could take up to two months.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).  Tips can also be submitted to the Crime Stoppers website or by texting 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
