"This should be a really great show. Last year's show we had off of Davis Park, that was wonderful, and this year promises to be even better," says Pat Gillen, who captains a fishing boat at Captree.

The display will launch closer to the mainland to accommodate more spectators. There will even be an historic aircraft show, according to Gillen.

For the best seat in the house, the Captree fleet will be in full force.

"It's such a comfortable, relaxing night to go out on a boat and just sit and watch fireworks and they have the patriotic music on the boat and everybody just has a great time when they do it," says local Carol Jenkins.
