B&C Morning Show: Al Dukes Showers, Dominique Wins and John Sterling Confuses

Jerry "Rello" Recco's first update of the morning had a little bit of everything. He has great range for an update anchor.

We got recaps of both the Mets' and Yankees' wins last night.  The Mets out-slugged the Tigers in Detroit and we heard from radio play-by-play man Wayne Hagin, who Craig had some constructive criticism for.  Angel Pagan (4-6, 3 RBI's and 3 runs scored) talked about his big night at the plate, Daniel Murphy and his questionable facial hair pointed out the obvious, and Mets fan Al "Hughes" Dukes altered his morning routine. He took a shower this morning before making his way into work.

Before Jerry could move on to the Yankees' win over the Brewers, Craig put everyone on the staff to the test regarding the last time the Mets were 3 games over the .500 mark.  After hearing everyone's guesses, Dominique won hands down because, well, she "likes looking at hot girls." That makes perfect sense (The answer, by the way, is July 23rd of last season when the Mets were 50-47).

Craig's pop quiz just prolonged the inevitable. While calling last night's Brewers-Yankees game, radio play-by-play man John Sterling had all sorts of problems in the 6th inning when Jorge Posada went deep. Jerry provided audio proof of the blunder...
