NEW YORK (CBS 2) – The Macy’s annual 4th of July fireworks show is expected to attract millions to the city’s west side.

This year’s theme is The Gift of Freedom, in honor of the 125th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty. Music will be performed in sync with the fireworks extravaganza. The show starts at 9pm over the Hudson River.

If you can’t be there, catch the live pre-show reports from the Macy’s 4th of July Firework Spectacular in New York starting at 4pm with the main event starting at 9 p.m. on 1010 WINS, the official radio station of Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular.
