B&C Morning Show: NFL Lockout Nears End, Yankees Keep On Winning

Boomer & Craig were happy to open-up today's radio program talking about the likelihood of the NFL lockout concluding by the end of the week.  Boomer spent yesterday afternoon in Pittsburgh at an NFL Alumni event and after crossing paths with some retired players who are not doing so well, Boomer is hopeful that today's players will do the right things and take care of the old timers.

Craig was very excited about the prospect of football returning and he wanted to hear some music to further his good vibrations and 'the' Eddie Scozzare obliged.  Boomer too wanted to hear some football music, but not the song his radio partner wanted to listen to - so a battle between the Dynamic Duo ensued.

Then it was on to the Yankees, who according to Craig, won a game they had no business winning after A.J. Burnett got off to a shaky start - allowing 4 runs in the first 2 innings.  The Yanks were able to overcome Burnett's early struggles and went on to win 5-4, but the big question now becomes: can Burnett be trusted???

Boomer and Craig talked about the Yankees' rotation moving forward and they also discussed Roy Halladay's early exit from last night Phillies loss at Wrigley Field after being dizzy and light-headed.  Needless to say, B&C had differing opinions on Halladay's toughness...
