NYPD Investigates Fatal Hit-And-Run On West Side Highway

NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- Police are searching for a driver in a fatal hit-and-run on the West Side Highway.

Police said a motorcyclist died after being hit twice, being knocked off his bike first by a white Honda SUV, then struck and killed by a Chevy.

The tragedy happened just before 4:30 a.m. Saturday at West 46th Street and 12th Avenue.

The Chevy driver remained at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk.

The Honda's driver was unaccounted for Sunday.
