NEW YORK (CBS 2) — Police are searching for a driver in a fatal hit-and-run on the West Side Highway.

Police said a motorcyclist died after being hit twice, being knocked off his bike first by a white Honda SUV, then struck and killed by a Chevy.

The tragedy happened just before 4:30 a.m. Saturday at West 46th Street and 12th Avenue.

The Chevy driver remained at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk.

The Honda’s driver was unaccounted for Sunday.

most bikers ride like morons and have no clue how to ride a motorcycle. the test to pass for your licence must have been made up by monkeys in the bronx zoo because most bikers are complete morons

There are certain times and locations I avoid when riding my bike, 4am and West Side Highway happen to be on the list.

    1. MSavage says:

I avoid riding a bike altogether because all it takes one (or in this case two) careless moron(s) to get one killed. And I avoid driving my car on a Fri or Sat night because there are just too many a s s holes out at those times.
