B&C Morning Show: Umpires, Not John Sterling, Screw Up Call For Yankees

Jerry began his update by providing us with John Sterling, calling Royals DH Billy Butler's controversial home run in the 3rd inning of Wednesday night's Yankees loss.

We also heard from Joe Girardi  and a fired up Mariano Rivera (by Mariano standards) following the game.  Boomer & Craig, along with Jerry, had a spirited discussion on the homer, complete with a demonstration courtesy of Craig using a softball and plenty of backspin.

Alex Rodriguez is apparently done with his rehab stint and ready to rejoin the Yankees, but it is unknown when he will return to the lineup because of some problems he is having in the field.

The Mets won in San Diego and David Wright had himself a night. We also got to hear from a tongue-tied Terry Collins about playing with a lead for a change.

Then it was on to the scandal involving Miami University that is currently rocking the college football world.  Giants safety Antrel Rolle attended 'The U' and has had his name attached to the story along with about 70 other former 'Canes. He was tight lipped on the subject when he joined Mike Francesca yesterday.  Stay tuned...
