Robin Quivers, Howard Stern's Sidekick, Involved In Hit-And-Run In N.J.

BARNEGAT TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police in southern New Jersey say 50-year-old Robert Crockett left the scene of an accident after hitting a car driven by Howard Stern's sidekick Robin Quivers.

Police say Quivers was driving north on Route 9 in Barnegat Township Sunday when Crockett hit her vehicle and took off.

Crockett was driving a vehicle with South Carolina license plates. Witnesses gave police the details that led them to the 50-year-old.

Police told The Press of Atlantic City Crockett said he lost control, struck Quiver's vehicle and fled.

Police issued Crockett tickets for leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, reckless driving and operating an unregistered vehicle.

No one was injured.
