Police In Queens Looking For Attempted Sexual Assault Suspect
The NYPD released a sketch of the suspect who assaulted a 40-year-old woman in Springfield Gardens on Sunday.
Police say the man pushed the victim to the ground, punched her in the face and tried to rape her. He ran away when a neighbor heard the woman’s call for help.
The suspect is believed to be about 30-years-old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds.
He was wearing a dark-colored shirt, dark baggy jeans and may have a cut on his hand.
Police say 26-year-old Adolfo Martinez faces charges of sex abuse in the 3rd degree.
Martinez allegedly grabbed a woman from behind and groped her as she was walking near Vanderbilt Avenue in Windsor Terrace. Police say he ran away when the woman screamed.
