NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — Occupy Wall Street demonstrators brought their protest to billionaire New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s town house — along with their drums.
Demonstrators have their musical instruments, food, banners, art and sleeping bags with them near the mayor’s residence near Central Park. They started drumming at 2 p.m. Sunday and aim to keep the beat up for 24 hours.

Organizer John Penley says protesters want to get as close to Bloomberg’s house as the police let them. The protesters are angry at Bloomberg for rousting them from their home base at Zuccotti Park on Tuesday.
Protesters weren’t the only ones upset about how the eviction went down. Manhattan borough president Scott Stringer also criticized Bloomberg over how the eviction went down.
The planned protest comes after police in Albany arrested an unknown amount of protesters for violating the curfew law at Lafayette Park.
Sunday evening, Bloomberg held a news conference, along with NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly and Manhattan D.A. Cyrus Vance to announce the arrest of a Manhattan man on terrorism charges.
