Suspect In Fatal Queens Bus Shooting Faces Multiple Charges
NEW YORK (CBS 2) – The suspect accused in Friday's deadly shooting rampage that ended on a city bus now faces multiple charges.
Damel Burton is charged with murder and attempted murder.
Police said before unleashing a hail of bullets on the bus in Jamaica, he shot an 18-year-old inside a nearby apartment.
The teen jumped out of a window and later died of his injuries.
Police also accused Burton of opening fire on a Q111 bus, killing one person and wounding another.
The wounded victim was shot in the face, but survived.
