Family run DeRobertis' Italian pastry shop on First Avenue and 11th Street has been making Christmas goodies for the past 108 years.

They still bake on site, making traditional Italian cakes, cookies and pastries like struffoli.

"They are deep fried then coated with honey and colored sprinkles and we put candy on ours with the almonds inside. They're delicious," said third generation baker Anna DeRobertis Mansueto.

Her children, nieces and nephews are in the shop learning the ropes and recipes.
