What more can you say?! Jeremy Lin and the Knicks took their act north of the border last night and left the Air Canada Centre with a thrilling 90-87, comeback victory over the Raptors. And once again it was Lin who was at the center of it all.
Despite not playing his best, Lin found away to score 27 points and nail the game-winner in the final seconds. With that, his legend continues to grow by leaps and bounds. It wasn’t all Lin though, as Boomer praised the play of Iman Shumpert, who had a huge steal in the final minutes
The Knicks open up their longest homestand of the season tonight against the Sacramento Kings, a home-stand that is sure to be accompanied by plenty of madness, or dare I say – ‘Linsanity’!!!
Not to be outdone though, the Rangers beat down the Bruins last night in Boston by the score of 3-0 and because of that, Boomer was under the impression that some might want to talk about the Blue Shirts -which may have been true but unfortunately Craig was not one of them. That didn’t stop Boomer from getting his point across about the greatness that is Hendrik Lundqvist and the 1st place Rangers.
So the guys battled back-and-forth about the importance of the Knicks and the Rangers, while at the same time singing the praises of both New York franchises and that’s how you begin a Wednesday edition of the Morning Extravaganza…
