B&C Morning Show: Wilpons Ruffle Feathers, Bart Scott Wants Out

Boomer & Craig had a date night of sorts, as the Dynamic Radio Duo broke bread prior to attending last night's Devils-Rangers game at the Garden together.  The Rangers got a 2-0 win, which had Boomer in a good mood.  Craig was so fired up after the game that he went home and watched the conclusion of the Daytona 500.

But before all of that, Fred Wilpon addressed the media down in Port St. Lucie -- and the Mets owner made it clear that he intends to own the team for a very long time.  Wilpon claimed the Mets made a generous offer to Jose Reyes and even playfully mocked the team's troubled financial situation by flashing a roll of $5 bills.

So all of that, combined with his whipper-snapper son Jeff handing out Underdog T-shirts to the team - which did not sit well with David Wright by the way - had the guys talking  about those 'Not So Amazin' Mets once again, mind you for all the wrong reasons.

We also hear that Jets linebacker Bart Scott wants out of the green and white and apparently the feeling is mutual.  The problem is Scott is owed a lot of money and is not a very good football player anymore.  What to do, what to do?

Let the Tuesday fun begin...
