Car Flips Over, Slams Into Another On Central Park West

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A scary incident took place near Central Park on Saturday morning when a car flipped onto its roof outside the New York Athletic Club.

The car slammed into the side of another car parked on a curb on Central Park West between 6th and 7th avenues.

Manfred Hildebrand, the delivery driver whose car was nailed by the flipped vehicle, was completely caught off guard when he returned to the scene.

“I was doing a bread delivery at the time this happened,” Hildebrand said. “When I came out I saw the fire department. That’s all that I saw , and I saw the damage on my car.”

There is no word on the condition of the overturned car, or what may have caused the accident.

Did the flipped car have a driver?

Or did the car create all this havoc on its own?

I’m pretty sure the flipped vehicle isn’t in pristine shape.
