School Bus Collides With Car In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Four children are recovering from minor injuries after their school bus crashed into a car.

It happened at the intersection of 31st Avenue and 54th Street in Woodside, Queens Tuesday night.

Four developmentally disabled students were onboard the bus when it collided with a Nissan Altima with two women inside. The bus driver says he was cut off.

"I was coming up 31st as you can see and she made a U-turn," said bus driver Edward Eason. "I couldn't swerve, I couldn't do nothing. She was too close."

The driver of the car and her passenger were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating.
