Knicks' Amar'e Stoudemire To Reportedly Have MRI For Back Issue

GREENBURGH, N.Y. (AP/WFAN) — Amar'e Stoudemire will have an MRI for a back injury on Monday, according to the New York Daily News, and both he and Jeremy Lin are questionable for tonight's game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Stoudemire, who injured his back last April and couldn't play for three months, didn't even travel to the Knicks' training center for the team's shootaround after leaving Detroit on Saturday when his back tightened. Lin also sat out the fourth quarter with a sore right knee, but he took part in Monday's workout.

Coach Mike Woodson says he won't know who is playing until he gets to Madison Square Garden before the game.

Stoudemire's injury is the bigger concern for the Knicks, given the back problems that hampered him during last season's playoff loss to Boston.
