All morning long, Craig promised over and over again that he was going to get Boomer to actually touch the Stanley Cup, which paid a visit to the Allstate Studio along with its ‘keeper,’ Mike Bolt.  Boomer was adamant that no part of his body would come in contact with the Cup, clinging to a childish superstition that such an act would be bad luck.

Clearly something had to give — and it did.  As you can see by the photo below, to the Booms’ chagrin, Craig used his Muppet and actually locked Boomer’s Muppet Lips on the Stanley Cup.  We’ll have to wait and see how this affects the Rangers performance moving forward.

After that, with Ron Duguay still hanging out in the Allstate Studio, the guys were happy to welcome in a lovely blonde gal by the name of Sara (picctured along w/ B&C and Duguay), who was supposed to play the wildly popular trivia contest called ‘Do You Know More Sports Than…’

But since we were short on time, she was asked a couple of hockey questions, oggled on a bit and left with some nice parting gifts…
