Nets Reportedly Land Bosnian Forward Mirza Teletovic

NEW YORK (WFAN) -  The Brooklyn Nets have reached an agreement in principle on a three-year deal with Bosnian forward Mirza Teletovic, The New York Times has reported.

Teletovic, 26, bought out his contract with his Spanish League team and expressed interest in playing in the NBA, specifically for the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Nets. He averaged 21.7 points in the ten Euroleague games he played in.

The deal is reportedly worth $15.675 million, and the Nets will use their full mid-level exception to sign the 6-foot-9, 250-pound Teletovic.

The Nets have already agreed to a deal with free-agent Gerald Wallace and traded for Atlanta Hawks shooting guard Joe Johnson. The club is still waiting for Deron Williams to announce if he will re-sign.

Will Dwight join the Nets' roster soon? Sound off in the comments section below...
