Police: L.I Man Charged With Setting 2 Fires At His Home

BALDWIN, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Long Island man faces arson and other charges after authorities said he intentionally set two fires inside his home.

Evans Saintune, 48, was arrested Wednesday in Baldwin after an investigation of the fires found that they had been started on purpose, Nassau County police said.

Saintune is charged with arson, reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.
