Couple Talks 'Game Of Thrones' & 'Mobile Couch' Engagement

NEW YORK (WLNY) -- TV 10-55's Alex Denis was out at the Game of Thrones exhibit in Midtown on Tuesday when something really special happened.

Two mega fans of the HBO series got engaged on the replica of the Iron Throne - and our cameras caught the whole thing.

Jordan Young and Amanda Santangelo joined us on The Couch to talk with us about their romantic moment.

The bride-to-be said she was reluctant to even go to the exhibition.

"I really didn't want to go, honestly," she said. "He dragged me there, and I'm really glad he did."

While the couple hasn't planned a 'Game of Thrones' themed wedding (yet), Mr. Young said he knew he had to incorporate the show into his proposal plan.

"We are immense fans of the show, we have not been able to stop talking about it since we marathon-ed it," he said.
