Queens Man Charged With Robbing Several Stores
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Police have arrested a man wanted for a string of robberies where he pistol-whipped the victim.
Corey King, 23, of Queens was arrested on Friday and charged with four counts of first degree robbery, according to police.
Police said King's robbery streak began on March 9 at a deli on Colfax Street. King subsequently robbed two other delis and a dry cleaners before being caught, police said. The most recent robbery occurred on April 2, according to police.
In all four instances, police said the victims were struck in the face with a shotgun before King fled with cash.
