Fit Minute: Adding A Sexy Twist To Zumba
NEW YORK (WLNY) — Elizabeth DeGennaro, fitness trainer and founder of “Wild Cherryz Entertainment,” stopped by The Couch to show us a Zumba workout with some added spice.
“I added burlesque, so you feel sexy and confident, and then Zumba the dance moves, and then the boot camp, so it’s an intense workout,” DeGennaro said.
For the Fit Minute, DeGennaro starts with four walks forward, four steps shimmying back, four squats side to side, four quick step runs in place picking up the knees, four side to side ‘Sexy Jacks,’ four belly dance hip rolls to the left then four belly dance hip rolls to the right, hands come to the side for a burlesque move and deep stretch, jump together for salsa side to side four times, back fifth position salsa step four times, and then arms up and turning it around with your hips.
