Officials Identify Victims Of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning In Passaic

PASSAIC, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police have identified two people who died from carbon monoxide poisoning on Saturday at a recording studio in Passaic, New Jersey.

Noel Korman, 39, and Alice Park, 29, both of Clifton, were killed and 12 others were taken to local hospitals.

Korman and Park were found Saturday afternoon on the second floor of the Streets Rehearsal Studio, located in a converted Passaic factory building on Willet Street.

Investigators said others were found choking and dazed, CBS2 reported.

The fire department is still investigating the cause.

The studio's website said it opened in 1994 and has 300- to 400-square-foot studios that offer "the serious musician a secure sanctuary in which to hone their craft.''
