As breakfast can often be a difficult meal to come by with this lifestyle, Janice is a relief for all GF breakfast lovers, with a perfectly executed menu featuring items like goat cheese and asparagus omelets served alongside gluten-free toast. Breakfast isn’t the only meal of the day that is served up gluten-free—lunch, dinner and dessert all have indicated wheat free options listed on their menus, each dish tastier than the next. The staff is knowledgeable about the GF lifestyle, and can give recommendations for all courses and specialty items. Try the moist and rich flourless chocolate cake to finish off your meal.

Suffering from Celiac disease doesn’t mean you have to cross Italian dining off the list. Just ask Chef Franco of La Riviera Trattoria, whose daughter’s Celiac disease condition prompted him to create an entirely gluten-free menu for his restaurant. There’s no shortage of Italian favorites on this menu either. GF breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese fill the stuffed artichoke appetizers and the gluten-free pasta choices make having an authentic Italian meal not only possible, but full of flavor. All gluten-free menu items are prepared in separate cookware which is used only for Celiac dishes, making La Riviera Trattoria an especially beneficial New Jersey establishment for all of those with wheat allergies.

Craving pizza? Look no further than Hoboken’s Bin 14. Though the restaurant lacks a specialized gluten-free menu, their GF pizzas and knowledgeable staff (who can help you customize your order to fit the GF diet), more than make up for it. The gluten-free crusts can be adorned with the typical pizza toppings, or you can select one of the suggested combinations from the menu for a more eclectic and slightly different taste.
