Boy, 2, Drowns In N.J.
WEST WINDSOR, N.J. (AP) -- A 50th wedding anniversary party turned tragic Thursday night when a 2-year-old boy from England drowned in a swimming pool at a home in West Windsor.
Police say the boy was visiting relatives and somehow got into a fenced-in backyard pool.
It was unclear how the child got into the pool. Between 15 to 20 family members were at the large home.
West Windsor police Lt. Pat McCormick says the boy was pronounced dead at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center at Hamilton.
