Track Fire Causes Service Disruptions On LIRR
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- A track fire on Sunday night is causing problems on some lines of the Long Island Railroad.
There's no service to Kew Gardens and Forest Hills from Penn Station.
The railroad says the disruptions started at about 8 p.m. Sunday after a fire broke out on the tracks in Long Island City.
New York subways and buses are accepting railroad passes to Kew Gardens and Forest Hills.
