YONKERS, N.Y. (1010 WINS/AP) — A reputed member of the Luchese crime family was arrested over the weekend in Yonkers on armed robbery charges.
FBI spokesman Richard Kolko says Joseph “Big Joe” Lubrano was found at a friend’s house on Saturday.
The 39-year-old Lubrano was indicted on federal racketeering charges in May. He was to appear in court on Monday.
The indictment charges Lubrano and 10 others of stealing drugs, drug sales proceeds, bookmaking and other charges.
