Woman Finds Boyfriend Shot Dead On His Porch In N.J.
PATERSON, NJ (AP) - Police say a Paterson man who was found dead on his porch Monday morning by his girlfriend had been shot.
According to police, 29-year-old Moises Candelario, an El Salvador native, was discovered around 2 a.m. covered in blood on his porch.
Lt. Richard Reyes says Candelario was a landscaper and was returning home from his sister's house early Monday. Reyes says police are canvassing the neighborhood in search of leads.
Candelario is the city's 14th homicide victim this year. More than 40 people have been injured by gunfire in Paterson so far in 2010.
