Authorities Find Woman's Burnt Remains In N.Y. Town

RICHMOND, N.Y. (AP) -- Firefighters responding to a call found the burnt remains of a woman in a town south of Rochester.

The call of a fire on Pierpont Road in Richmond came in around 5 a.m. Saturday. Authorities found the remains, and were able to determine some characteristics of the woman.

WHEC-TV reported that authorities said the woman was likely between the ages of 17 and 45, between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighed between 140 and 200 pounds.

She was wearing fleece pajamas.
