After another disappointing season, the Mets cleaned house and hired disciplinarian Sandy Alderson to get things in order. Well, news out of Queens today alleges Mets equipment manager Charlie Samuels was taking bets within the organization, so it appears that Mr. Alderson has his work cut out for him. Speaking of Alderson Craig was not happy to learn that he is currently conducting his Mets business in Berkeley, California due to commitments he made prior to being hired as the Mets GM. Craig was happy about the Knicks, who beat the Bulls in Chicago last night, thanks in part to a 3-point barrage, as the Knickerbockers hit 16-24 from behind the arc. Then Craig took issue with the NY Post for 'their plan' regarding Derek Jeter's contract negotiations and the 'Football Gods' love the Giants and hate the Jets…

'Team Boomer' will be participating in the NYC Marathon this weekend representing the Boomer Esiason Foundation (BEF) , so to show solidarity we all chose to don the 'Team Boomer' shirts today. Craig is fully supportive of the event, but admits he does not understand why people choose to run, then he claimed that he and Boomer have been in a 'Jacuzzi' together, the Blonde Bomber refuted the claim. Jim Leonhard joined the guys to talk a little Jets football this morning with the guys. Turns out Boomer & Craig enlightened Leonhard on a lot of things going on with the Jets that he was unaware of, like the new 'body language fine' and the statement made by Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh regarding playing in Detroit. Leonhard did say that Darrelle Revis is pretty close to 100%, which is music to the ears of Jets fans and that he loves playing for Rex Ryan, which was music to Craig's ears…

Amani Toomer will be running in the NYC Marathon with the hopes of beating the time of Pro-Football HOF'er Lynn Swann about 17 years back. Amani was pretty outspoken about beating Swann's time of 4 hours & 26 minutes that the guys decided to call his bluff and they got Swann to call in and take Toomer to task. They also chatted with Amani about his playing career and the current Big Blue squad, which will take on the Seahawks this Sunday in Seattle…
