Boomer wasn't thrilled this morning after the Rangers lost to the Washington Capitals at the Garden last night - but when he turned to his left, he immediately felt better. That is because his radio partner, 'the morning guy' here at the FAN - Craig Carton, was having a tough day with his make-up. Yes, since the show began its simulcast live on the MSG Network, Boomer & Craig both wear make-up. This morning Craig decided to experiment a bit and he had Dominique, the guy's lovely make-up artist, give him a spray-tan. In retrospect, it turned out to be a disaster, because he did not look good and Boomer let him know it. Jorge Posada's wife Laura let everyone know that her husband's catching days were behind him via Twitter, which led Boomer to wonder why Mrs. Posada was 'tweeting' in the first place. In other Yankees news, shortstop Derek Jeter collected his fifth Gold Glove award. The reaction by the masses is the story here... Boomer & Craig debated whether or not the Captain is worthy of the award…

Craig realized that his spray-tan was not a great look so he decided to don a knit hat (pictured below), that we later learned was actually his wife's, and a pair of sunglasses. In an effort to make Craigie feel more comfortable, Boomer suggested everyone on the staff get a spray-tan, but that idea was met with a lot of resistance. Someone who doesn't need a spray-tan is Jerry 'Rello', and he was on-hand to deliver his first update of the day…
