Authorities said 48-year-old David Piparo entered the "We Buy Gold" pawn shop on Bruckner Boulevard and pointed a black handgun at an employee on November 10 around 5 p.m. The suspect was unable to take anything from the store and fled the scene, police said.

In the second incident, police said, Piparo went into a Game Stop on Westchester Square with a handgun demanding cash and locked two employees in a back room. He was allegedly able to flee with cash and two game consoles.

In the latest incident on November 15, the suspect entered another Game Stop store – this time on White Plains Road – and displayed a black handgun. Police said Piparo fled on foot after demanding property and cash.

Police describe Piparo as 5'10" and 195 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has multiple tattoos and a scar under one eye.

In each incident Piparo was wearing white sneakers, black or blue jeans and a black jacket, authorities said.
