Residential Pyramid To Rise On Manhattan's West Side

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - New York's ever-changing skyline is getting ready for another new addition.

The Bjarke Ingels Group has unveiled their design for W57, a pyramid-like structure to be built between 57th and 58th streets at the West Side Highway.

If approached from the south on the West Side Highway, the structure appears to be akin to a pyramid. Approach from the north, and you'll see a glass tower and a number of terraces.

The unusual structure features a large, central green space.

The building will rise to 450 feet.

Residents will be treated to Hudson River views from each apartment via a large bay window.

For more information on the project, check out its website.
