PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a man was killed Saturday when he fell from a northwestern New Jersey overpass onto a major highway and was then run over by a car that fled the scene.

But it wasn’t immediately clear which incident caused the death, or if it was an accident or a suicide.
