Everything was going perfect for the Rangers and the Madison Square Garden crowd through two periods during Game 4 on Wednesday night. But once the third period started, everything turned for the worse at the Garden and for the Rangers' season.
After leading 3-0 to start the third period, the Rangers broke down and allowed the Capitals to tie the game before going on to win in the second overtime. It was the second time the Rangers failed to protect a third-period lead in the series, and their second overtime loss in the series as well.
Chris Lopresti of WFAN joined me to look back at the devastating defeat in Game 4 and whether or not the Rangers can come back from this 3-1 hole.
