2 Men Rob Teenager With Knife On Nassau County

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Nassua County police are searching for two men involved in a robbery on Friday night.

Police said the 17-year-old victim was walking near Keiffer and Randall avenues in Elmont at 9:30 p.m. when he was approached by a black male, who the victim described as 17 to 20 years old, 5-feet-9-inches tall, 175 pounds wearing dark-colored clothing. The male then asked the victim for directions.

At that point, a second black male, described as also 17 to 20 years old, between 5-feet-11-inches and 6-feet tall and weighing 170 pounds, crossed the street and pulled a knife on the victim and demanded his property as the first male knocked the victim to the ground.

The first male removed from the victim his cell phone, wallet, keys and two shopping bags. The two suspects then fled the scene on foot toward Meacham Avenue.

Police are asking that anyone with information regarding this crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
