Food Truck Frenzy Event Slated To Hit Chelsea May 23

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- It's the ultimate meal on wheels.

The Zagat Food Truck Frenzy, a gathering of 20 of New York City's favorite food trucks, is coming to Chelsea on Monday, May 23.

Originally scheduled for May 18, Zagat rescheduled the event due to the week's inclement weather.

Those in attendance at Monday's midday event will be able to pick and choose from all sorts of fare – from dumplings to dessert – to create their ultimate plate while taking in the sounds of street bands and maybe even cashing in on some of the free giveaways.

Participating trucks include Pizza Moto, the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck, Cupcake Crew, Beef Burger, Mexicue and Sweetery – just to name a few.
