Rangers Re-Sign Free Agent Brian Boyle

NEW YORK (WFAN/AP) — The Rangers have agreed to terms with restricted free agent Brian Boyle.

The deal was completed Friday with the 26-year-old Boyle, who posted career highs with 21 goals and 35 assists in 82 games last season with the Rangers. The 6-foot-7 center is one of four New York players to appear in every game.

"Very fortunate and blessed," said Boyle, according to the Bergen Record. "It's the only place I want to be."

In 189 regular-season NHL games with Los Angeles and the Rangers, Boyle has 33 goals and 51 points. He led New York in shots on goal, was fourth on the team in goals, and 11th in the NHL with 240 hits.
